Since 1996 I have been living in Glen Davis, restoring my cottage. Although the property was originally intended as a weekend retreat, the cottage and its' surroundings were so captivating, I soon moved there permanently.

Prior to this, I worked fifteen years for the Mirvac hotel group, ten years at the Hyde Park Plaza, and five years as purchasing Cost Control Manager at the Sydney Marriott. During this time I developed a real liking for the hospitality business. After talking to visitors in the township, whom regretted there was no overnight accommodation (apart from a camping-ground) I saw there was a need for a comfortable place to stay for those exploring this end of the Capertee Valley.
